Mezza Stage + Studio is a queer-led performance project that focuses on intimate small-scale events - spoken word, theatre, dance, music, comedy, film and everything in between.
Our goal is simple: create space for artists and audiences to experience something immediate, shared, and a little unpredictable.
No single format. No fixed venue. Each event is built for the room it's in. If it doesn't quite fit anywhere else, it probably belongs here.

Live at The Dragon's Egg
From canvas and page to voice and room, a night of songs and stories that turn art and poetry into something unexpected and very human. Namoli Brennet brings a deeply personal set of songs shaped by years of touring and connection with live audiences. Her performances move between stillness and intensity - quiet, direct, and emotionally precise - to warm banter and quirky humour that adds brevity to heavy topics. There is laughter between the artist and audience who share the same room and the same moment.
Saturday, June 13th Doors (and food) at 6:00pm Show at 6:30pm The Dragon's Egg, 401 Shewville Road, Ledyard, CT $20 (plus fees if online) The Dragon's Egg is a movement and performance space known for its warmth and acoustics. This event leans into closeness. No distance. No stage barrier. Just sound, presence, and attention. Several chairs and cushions will be available at this welcoming dance studio. Feel free to bring your own seat or cushion. Also consider wearing intriguing socks to display in the shoeless concert space.
Opening the show will be Goose! A singer songwriter from New Haven Connecticut that makes heartfelt Indie music. Some of you may know Goose from the monthly open mic they host at The Golden Owl in New London. Goose is also a member of the band Radiodonta but will be playing solo this night.
A captivating hoop dancing performance by Justine Nicole Entertainment will be a pre-show delight.
